Conduct

Overview

All referrals should be made to Student Conduct and Ethical Development within a reasonable time following the discovery of the alleged violation and no later than six months after the discovery, except in extraordinary cases. A referral may be initiated by a student, faculty member, University Police personnel, staff member, office personnel, or interested party to the ±«Óãtv. The Conduct Officer may request information concerning prior misconduct of the student from the University Police and other appropriate persons or offices.

A written correspondence to a student, which states that a referral has been made and informs the student of an opportunity for a meeting will be sent to the student's University E-mail. If the student chooses not to attend, the Conduct Officer reserves the right to have an In Absentia Review, at which point a disposition letter will be sent to a student.
