±«Óãtv is 14th among American public research universities and 34th among all universities worldwide in generating new patents in Calendar Year 2023. In Fiscal Year 2024, 90 new U.S. ​Patents were issued to ±«Óãtv.
Disclosures
±«Óãtv had 267 new disclosures in FY 2024 and recently launched the Inventor Portal to make the disclosure process faster and easier for ±«Óãtv faculty, staff and students.
License/ Options Agreements
±«Óãtv executed 107 license and option agreements in FY 2024.
Startup Companies
±«Óãtv had 13 new startup companies in FY 2024, ranking ±«Óãtv in the top 15 percent nationally for facilitating University startups.
