WAGE ADJUSTMENT
The ±«Óãtv has experienced unprecedented momentum across our three campuses, highlighted by our recent invitation to join the Association of American Universities, a prestigious group of the 71 leading research universities in the United States and Canada. From empowering our students to transforming ideas into innovation and impact, our university’s people – our faculty, staff and all team members – are the heart of everything we do.
To recognize and reward our employees’ efforts and significant contributions, ±«Óãtv will provide a three percent (3%) discretionary pool to eligible out-of-unit administrative and staff employees for base salaries. This adjustment is effective October 13, 2023, and will be reflected on paychecks beginning November 3, 2023. Supervisors will determine increases for individual employees based on criteria from Human Resources, including hiring date, performance history and equity adjustments.
This is the second consecutive year of 3% base salary pool increases for eligible out-of-unit administrative and staff employees. The university also has already allocated an additional $5 million for faculty market adjustments to support #One±«Óãtv, to competitively recruit critical hires due to vacancies and to support other salary adjustments.
Wage increases will be distributed as follows:
- All In-Unit Employees: See an overview of the wage increase cycle for In-Unit employees here.
- Out-of-Unit employees: See the Out-of-Unit Wage Adjustments 2023.
Thank you for your continued hard work and for all you to do to strengthen the University of South Florida and the success of our students and research.
