Classification & Compensation
Overview
The ±«Óãtv Classification & Compensation system is designed to ensure consistency and fair compensation practices for all ±«Óãtv positions.
Jobs are categorized into Faculty, Administration, Staff, and Temporary classifications. Each job is assigned a job code and job title, accompanied by a job description that outlines key details such as the official title, pay grade assignment, typical responsibilities, and minimum qualifications required for the role.
Central Human Resources (CHR) manages job code descriptions for Administration, Staff, and Temporary positions. Faculty job code descriptions are maintained by the Office of the Provost but are available on the CHR website.
All classification and compensation-related actions require review and approval by CHR’s Classification & Compensation team, Branch Campus Human Resources offices, or ±«Óãtv Health Human Resources.
