Employer expectations
To participate in the internship course, an employer must:

- Have a business professional available to mentor the intern on a daily basis, and this professional must commit to developing at least three project experiences for the student and learning objectives related to each of them; and

Unpaid internships will be accepted providing the company provides proof of liability coverage for the student. However, paid internships are common in accounting and will result in more student interest.
