±«Óãtv Summer Dance Week
The ±«Óãtv Summer Dance Week is designed as a week-long series of intensive classes and workshops.
Each day will be structured to have 3-4 classes in a variety of forms and styles - These will include African dance, ballet, contemporary/modern dance, improvisation, jazz, tap, commercial dance, composition, and more!
Additionally, dancers will be learning new and repertory choreography that they will perform in the end-of-intensive performance.
Open to all dancers age 10+ with previous dance training.
The ±«Óãtv Summer Week of Dance faculty will include ±«Óãtv dance faculty, alumni, and invited guest artists. Current ±«Óãtv dance majors will serve as group mentors.
Although there is not a formal audition process for this intensive workshop, dancers will be required to submit a brief summary of your dance training and list your current dance teacher’s information (if applicable) during the registration process. The dancers will be split into two-three groups, based on age, technical ability, and number of registered students.
