Internships
Internships provide students with real-world experience in the field or fields they are interested in eventually working.
Whether approved for course credit or not, internships are a valuable part of a student's education outside of the classroom and can help prepare you for your future career.
Some departments offer major specific internship credit, while others do not. Please make sure to check with your major advisor about whether an internship is required for you to complete your degree program.
