±«Óãtv professors , and were recognized at the Women in Leadership and Philanthropy (WLP) awards dinner for their research and impact on women in local, national and international communities.
The ±«Óãtv College of Education would like to congratulate the faculty awardees Persohn and Robinson from the Sarasota-Manatee campus and Agazzi, who is a graduate of the School Psychology doctoral program and now a faculty member at the College of Medicine. These three accomplished women were honored with the WLP Dr. Kathleen Moore Faculty Excellence Award.
Persohn is an assistant professor in the Literacy Studies Program in the Department of Language, Literacy, Ed.D., Exceptional Education and Physical Education. She is the host and executive producer of the Classroom Caffeine podcast, that serves to connect education researchers and practicing teachers.
Robinson is an associate professor of instruction in Elementary Education in the Department of Curriculum, Instruction and Learning. She has published and presented nationally and internationally on arts integration methods to promote inclusive student learning environments.
Agazzi is a professor in the Department of Pediatrics and the section chief of the Division of Child Development at the ±«Óãtv College of Medicine. Her specializations include behavioral parent training programs for children with developmental disabilities and disruptive behavior disorders.
