The online master’s program is part of the Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling program, which is also CACREP-accredited.

This accreditation reflects the program’s commitment to excellence and the faculty’s dedication to preparing students for impactful careers. Chih-Chin Chou, PhD, program director and associate professor in the Department of Child and Family Studies, expressed her excitement, saying, “With this accreditation, our students can be confident in the quality of their education, gaining the skills to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.” She added, “Graduates will be eligible to become certified rehabilitation counselors and obtain state licensure.”
