CFS faculty member appointed to Presidential Advisory Committee on Accessibility

López is an assistant professor of instruction in the Department of Child and Family Studies.

Laura Rodríguez López, EdD, an assistant professor of instruction in the Department of Child and Family Studies (CFS) and interdisciplinary training director with the Florida Center for Inclusive Communities, has been appointed by President Rhea Law to serve on the Presidential Advisory Committee on Accessibility.

In this role, López will work with the council to advise the president on issues affecting ±«Óãtv faculty, staff, and students, while also monitoring the campus environment for accessibility concerns. She is excited to serve on the committee and advocate as an ally for the disability community.
