Lise Fox, PhD has been selected as chair of the Department of Child & Family Studies (CFS). Fox is currently a professor in CFS and is the co-division director of the and the University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities. She has served in several roles within CFS over the past 27 years and possesses a wealth of knowledge about the department, college, and university.
Fox is a nationally recognized leader in her field and has received $33 million in external funding over her time at ±«Óãtv. She has contributed to interventions related to young children and challenging behavior and is the author of 70 articles, 32 chapters, and 8 books related to improving practices and programs for young children. She is currently engaged in several research and technical assistance projects associated with the implementation of evidence-based practices within early care, education, and early intervention systems; state and program implementation technical assistance; and the implementation of the Pyramid Model (program-wide positive behavior support).
Fox will begin her role as chair on Aug. 6, 2022.
