Bio
Sommer Mitchell obtained a Ph.D in Government from ±«Óãtv's School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies in May 2018. Her research focuses on international security, legitimacy, and private military and security companies. She holds an M.A. in Social Science Education from ±«Óãtv and has more than ten years teaching experience at the secondary and post-secondary level. She has taught Introduction to International Relations, International Human Rights, and Conflict in the World. Sommer also has experience in faculty development through her work at ±«Óãtv's Academy for Teaching and Learning Excellence and her role as a Professional Development Specialist for ±«Óãtv’s Global Citizens Project.
